Farewell Rookie Help

Since my application for ISD went down like a lead balloon, my alt is about to time out of it, and I've been told off by a volunteer for posting links in there anyway (though why I can't is a secret, apparently) it is time for me to wave goodbye to the help channels.

If you found this site through rookie help and want to get further help you can find me in the channel PVE to post your questions which I will continue to answer here, or find another mentor in the channel 'adoptions' which you will find under help in the channels list. Although the channel PVE is a corp public channel we are happy to accomodate friends in there too.

I also recommend Grismar's Eve wiki (over the official one, as it works ingame) at:
eve.grismar.net

Update: I've now been told what my telling off was for. I'm a little confused as to what it means, and whether I can tell you what it means as it would mean quoting a GM.

Well I'll risk it. The gist was that my link was to a 'self-promoting' website (as this is a site I make no money from, without ads, I don't really see how that is relevant. If I took off any personal info would that be better?) and answered questions that could be answered in a single sentence. If anyone feels that any of the posts in here would work as a single sentence please mail me. I'm all for brevity.

Anyhoo I will try and resist posting in there again for the next few hours, painful though it is watching rookies flounder.

Public Venture Enterprises FAQ:

Why Is The Site So Hard To Read?: PVE-Log is optimised for the Eve-Online Ingame Browser. Try Reading ingame; if you were given a link just click it instead of using copy-paste.

What is PVE?: Public Venture Enterprises was formed for players of Eve who want to mission with the help, support and friendship of other like-minded players. PVE is about co-operative play. PVE is also the title of a chat channel where you can join the weekly missioning event even if you are not in PVE corp. PVE also happens to stand for Player Versus Environment, the opposite of PVP (Player Versus Player).

You are called PVE, does that mean you don't PVP?:

We do not pirate but we will fight in defence of our members, and we occasionally hunt pirates.

Where can I find you?: We have many offices, join us ingame to be informed of your nearest office at Channels & Mailing lists -> Channels -> Join -> PVE -> OK
